The provision of outdoor sports includes football pitches, mini soccer pitches, bowling greens, tennis courts, fishing waters, croquet, basketball, model car racing, cycle speedway, model aircraft flying and field archery as well as outdoor pursuits such as canoeing, abseiling and orienteering. The North West Street Games Festival in Sport city, August 29th 2008.
This Bury "Street cheer" team coached by Liz Norris from The New Kershaw Centre took the silver medals. The team members are Robyn Eames, Zara Schofield, Rebecca Leveridge , Rachel Aldred, and Olivia Neary.
