The Street Code

  • Don’t plug in your headphones or talk and text on your mobile phone whilst walking.
  • Keep vigilant  to what is going on around you.
  • Carry your bag across the front of your body, not just over your shoulder, and keep it closed.
  • Don’t advertise expensive jewellery to thieves, keep them out of sight.
  • Keep with friends there’s safety in numbers.
  • Purchase a personal attack alarm and keep it close to hand.
  • If you feel nervous or unsafe then  trust your instincts, they’re probably right.
