The Consumer Advice Service provides advice on your rights as a consumer about goods and services you have bought.
We have a range of leaflets about all sorts of subjects, from shopping with confidence, to your legal rights when things go wrong. Information on the work we do can be found on the Trading Standards section of www.bury.gov.uk
Trading Standards are based at Textile Hall, Manchester Road, Bury (next to the library).They can be contacted on 0161 253 5566 or by email on tradingstandards@bury.gov.uk. We currently produce a newsletter containing articles aimed at young adults such as counterfeiting and text phone scams. If you would like a copy get in touch.
