School Councils
If you are unclear about how School Council works in your school, or would just like to get involved, then ask your teacher or e-mail the Youth Service at YouthService@bury.gov.uk and we'll find out for you.
All secondary schools and the majority of primary schools in Bury have a School Council. The School Council is a place where pupils can share ideas about how their school can be improved. There are generally two pupils on the school council in every class and they should ask you what issues you want discussed at meetings and feedback to you on how those issues were taken forward.
